Each month, a new online self-paced video training lesson will be accessible, focused on one marketing skill and/or task, focused on an aspect of the marketing mix.

Sometimes a big picture focus such as ‘how to develop a strategic promotional plan’, sometimes practical such as ‘how to brief and manage a hotel brand photo shoot’. The consolidated trainings over time, form a Marketing Success Journey for each of your team members, as they learn marketing skills that support achieving brand consistency, awareness driving via different channels, conversion for direct bookings, creating on-brand guest experiences, and more.

Key to our learning program is also the development of marketing strengths such as strategic thinking, creative problem solving, and insight-led planning to focus on having a business mindset, as well as developing effective processes and ways of working with other hotel teams.

To support your team in putting into practise the monthly training topic, they can join monthly group coaching calls. This is an opportunity to ask questions about the implementation of their work, discuss ideas they have, and gain feedback and guidance from a marketing mentor who has been a senior hotel brand marketing leader. No question is too big or too small, and teams are welcome to ask questions about any training lesson, not only the training delivered that month.

Each monthly call (there are 2 call times/month to accommodate timezones) will be recorded and added to the membership training hub, so teams can refer back to feedback shared on any previous call.

Within each month’s training, team’s receive a workbook and/or templates to support practical implementation of the marketing skills. These resources also provide your team the opportunity to establish consistent processes and time efficiencies, and strengthen cross-team communication and consideration.

Examples of templates include: an agency briefing template, message pillar structure, gaining content sign-off, campaign planning, shot guide for photo shoot, running a brainstorm workshop guideline etc.

We like to surprise you on occasion with bonus trainings throughout the year such as season or market-related trainings, and even career development planning. Watch out also for surprise trainings by specialist guests covering topics such as advertising campaigns on Meta and best practices for website design, plus we even include some fun Challenge Events for a little friendly competition between hotels!

FAQs about the Membership

  • No. The membership fee is a team-based monthly or annual fee for your hotel, and provides for a maximum of 6 marketing team members to participate in the membership. The hotel’s General Manager will also have access to the membership hub and be the responsible account holder.

  • If your hotel enrols on the monthly subscription plan, you are able to unsubscribe at any time. If your hotel enrols on the annual membership plan , you can unsubscribe at the end of your annual subscription period. Please contact us at support@savvyhotelmarketer. com for assistance.

  • After enrolment, we will ask you to submit a list of your team members’ names and email addresses to us, so we can arrange a login access to the Membership Hub, where each month’s training lesson can be accessed.

  • The access to the Membership Hub is for the 6 team members only. You are not allowed to share the Membership content with other hotel team members or with anyone outside the hotel.

    You will be able to download the workbooks and temlplates to use as widely as you choose within your hotel.

  • Yes, for now, all membership training and content is only provided in English.
